This Privacy Policy explains how VuePod (“VuePod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit vuepod.net (the “Site”), purchase our products, or contact us. VuePod is a brand operated by SmartSF Technology Limited By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to updates, submit content, or contact support, we may collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order details, and any message you send us.
Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Your full card number is entered on the provider’s secure systems and is not stored on our servers. We receive only limited information needed to confirm and fulfill your order (for example, confirmation of payment and the last digits of your card).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical data when you browse the Site, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
Information from the VuePod app. The VuePod camera is set up and used through a supported mobile app. Any account, device, or video data you provide within that app is handled under the app and device provider’s own privacy terms, which are separate from this Policy. Please review those terms before using the app.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, and to provide customer support;
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service messages;
- To send marketing or launch updates where you have asked to receive them (you can opt out at any time);
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our products;
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and other unlawful activity;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working (for example, your shopping cart), to remember preferences, and to understand how the Site is used. We may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the TikTok Pixel to measure traffic and the performance of our marketing. These tools may set their own cookies and collect usage data subject to their respective privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and fulfill orders — for example payment processors, shipping and logistics partners, hosting providers, email and analytics services;
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VuePod, our customers, or others;
- Business transfers, if VuePod is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this Policy.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below; we will respond as required by applicable law.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
“Do Not Track.” Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
International users and data transfers
VuePod operates internationally, and the company that operates VuePod is based outside the United States. If you access the Site or purchase from us, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including the country where our operating entity is located. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site and our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Community comments & likes
When you comment on the Tank Wall we store the name you enter, your comment text, your email address if you choose to give one, and your IP address (used only for spam protection). Comments are reviewed before they appear, and you can ask us to remove one at any time at tech@vuepod.net. Likes are counted anonymously using a cookie in your browser and a short-lived, hashed record of your IP address.
